Many good and powerful teachings have been brought to our attention in recent times. The techniques they talk about definitely work, I can vouch for that. BUT... most of them suffer from one major problem. They require you to work hard - spend time clearing your mind, repeat your affirmations over and over, journal your gratitude list day and night, and continually go over the goals you have written down throughout your day...
Well, all this does work. But no one has the time and energy to continually implement these techniques. The rigors of today's life do not permit all of us to devote the kind of time and energy required by these techniques.

Failure! You feel great about gaining a new spiritual tool and learning something useful. But you never find the time to implement it. Somewhere between your day job and your family life, you realize that you can't afford to put in the long hours of dedication required by most of these techniques. And you give up. You become a part of the 97% that fail to maintain the consciousness levels they choose.
So How Do The Other 2-3% Succeed....
In a nutshell - they think smart! They know the things that empower their lives and focus on those. What they do to empower their lives can be implemented in under 30 minutes. And yet sustains their consciousness levels all day. These higher concepts are rarely talked about. They seem to be guarded like a precious treasure.
Those you admire in the spiritual community, do not depend on how many hours of dedication they put in. They know that it's not about hard work, but all about smart thinking.
And now, you can do it too....
You start by thinking of and writing down all of the things that bring up good feelings within you. Think about what you are thankful for in your life. Sometimes we have a hard time here so start with 3 or 4 good feelings and tomorrow see if you can add 1 or 2 more to your list.
