Free Psychic Reading: Fast Facts

So you want a psychic reading, preferably free to start. Ads on television and the Internet offer free psychic readings, but how long do these free readings last and can you trust them? While knowing all the answers is usually not possible, at least try to educate yourself in the basics of what a free psychic reading is, what it can offer and how much it can cost in the long run.

The keyword here is 'free'. Are just a few minutes free? What's the catch? Who are these people who offer a free psychic reading, anyway? Can they be trusted? Again, research before you log on or dial that number. Has the psychic you've chosen appeared on any television or radio shows, written articles or otherwise appeared in the public spotlight? Have they helped law enforcement agencies search for missing people? Each of these questions is valid when it comes to searching for the right psychic, whether for a free psychic reading or not.

Generally, reputable psychics and mediums don't offer a free reading, but on the other hand, everyone has to start somewhere. Building a reputation for these successful psychics involves trust and results. Many online and television ads advertise for a free psychic reading, but beware of who they are and what they're offering. In many cases, when a free reading is offered, it's used as a hook to get you back. At other times, a free psychic reading offered from a telephone number or website might only offer a few minutes free, and then the charges will start to kick in. Make sure you do your research ahead of time and follow the advice of the old adage: Let the buyer beware.

A free psychic reading might be fine for people just wanting to experiment, but if you're serious, seek out serious psychics and then do your research, visiting only those who have a good, solid reputation behind them. Check with online forums that discuss psychic readings and look for names or websites that forum members say scammed them. Try a name search within several different search engines and see what kind of information pops up on the psychic you're interested in. If you don't have a specific name for an offer to a free psychic reading, then you have a choice of trying it out, but don't fall prey to the old ploys to get you to come back if you're not perfectly satisfied with the service you received.

Most free psychic reading offers don't last for more than a few minutes, very few for more than five, so don't expect a whole lot. If you don't know whom you want, avoid the word 'free' in any Internet search, unless you really don't care who gives you your first free psychic reading. If you are serious about pursuing a psychic reading, then type in words like 'authentic, licensed, accurate', among others. Just be advised, that with anything, you get what you pay for. That goes for a free psychic reading as well.
